On the Ballot in 2014 for Voters

For all elections, contact your County Clerk for dates, times and
locations of In-Person Absentee Voting or Early Voting.


March 11th Elections
If ordered, School District Bond or Levy elections. Recall elections.


May 20th Primary Election
If ordered, Taxing District Bond or Levy elections. Recall elections. Special Questions.

The Republican Party's Primary will remain closed and only voters affiliated with the Republican Party will be allowed to vote the Republican Ballot. The Democratic Party has opted to open their Primary Election to voters affiliated with any political party and to unaffiliated voters. There are elections on non-partisan issues scheduled to be held in conjunction with the Primary Election, such as judicial elections, bond or levy elections or possibly state or local question elections. All registered voters are entitled to vote on non-partisan issues during the Primary Election.

  • U.S. Senator
  • U.S. House of Representatives - 1st and 2nd Congressional Districts
  • Governor
  • Lieutenant Governor
  • Secretary of State
  • State Controller

  • Superintendent of Public Instruction
  • Supreme Court Justice - decided at the Primary Election
  • Court of Appeals Judge - decided at the Primary Election
  • District Judges - decided at the Primary Election
  • Idaho State Senate - all seats in the Senate (35)
  • Idaho State Representative - all seats in the House (70)

County Offices:

  • County Commissioner District 1 (4 year term)
  • County Commissioner District 2 (2 year term)
  • County Clerk
  • County Treasurer
  • County Assessor
  • County Coroner
  • Precinct Committeepersons

August 26th Elections

Successful candidates from the party primary elections and independent candidates will appear on the General Election Ballot.

  Note: Party registration requirements have no effect on the General Election procedures. At the General Election, all voters receive exactly the same ballot and may vote for any candidate whose name appears on it, without regard to the political party affiliation of the candidate or the voter.
